The LIC Assistant Exam Pattern will be based on two papers which will be held for different posts under the clerk, cashier, payroll assistant. LIC Assistant Exam Pattern
LIC Assistant Exam Pattern is based on two tests out of which one is a computer-based test consisting of 3 subjects and the second one is also a mains test based on 5 subjects in the computer mode. The LIC will announce the LIC Assistant Result separately for both the examinations. The students will be selected on the basis of these two examinations for the post of LIC Assistant.
The tentative dates for the application process are September 2020 for approximately 8000+ posts. The LIC examination will be conducted for the phase-1 in October 2020. The students who wish to apply for the LIC Assistant can apply for the posts when the notification is out for the posts for the year 2020.

LIC Assistant Exam Pattern
Phase 1- Preliminary Exam
The preliminary exam will be a 1-hour exam comprising of 3 subjects viz Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. There are prescribed sectional timing for each subject and a total of 100 questions are asked at this level. The negative marking is applicable as 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The LIC Assistant Exam Pattern reads that the English marks will not be applicable in the overall marks or cut-off.

The LIC Assistant Exam Pattern also consists of the final selection process for the post of assistant. The students who clear both the phases by clearing the cut-off will be called in for the language proficiency test by the authorities. The insurance company will conduct separate language tests for the students of different divisions and zones.
Those students who will be able to clear the language test will be given the selection letter. In the LPT the students will be judged on the local language of the circle they have applied for. They will be judged on three parameters viz Reading, writing and speaking the language of the state. Since the job is clerical based hence it is very important that the students have an idea of the official language of the state.
Syllabus of LIC Assistant Exam
The LIC Assistant is concluded in two-phases viz one is Preliminary exam while the other is the Mains exam. The syllabus of LIC Assistant is different for preliminary and different for Mains. The syllabus of the LIC Assistant also has the LIC Assistant Exam Pattern. The question asked in the preliminary exam is low level in difficulty meter while the question asked in Mains is high in difficulty level.
In the preliminary exam, only the score of Quant and reasoning is taken into consideration. The syllabus of the LIC Assistant for both the phases is given below:

Previous Year Cut-off of LIC Assistant
The cut-off of LIC Assistant is decided on two stages, the first stage which is preliminary while second is the mains exam. The sectional cut-off of the different section was pre-decided at 16 marks for the general students in both the phases. The students who dis not secured the sectional or overall cut-off will be disqualified at each level. The previous year cutoff for LIC Assistant is as follows:
