The Board of School Education Haryana is responsible to recruit candidates for the post of Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher and Postgraduate Teacher in government schools of Haryana. HTET or Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is not an easy exam. Therefore, only 12-13% out of lakhs of candidates qualify this exam every year. Cut-off Marks List for HTET 2020

The Board decides a cut-off marks list and candidates have to get greater or equal marks to the cut-off marks. Every year huge number of candidates take part in this examination but only a few percents get success. As per the officials, the candidate who will score at least 60% marks in HTET 2020 will be declared qualified.

  • The General category candidates have to score 60% marks in HTET or 90 marks out of 150 marks.
  • OBC candidates have to score 90 Marks out of 150 Marks.
  • SC/ST candidates of Haryana Domicile have to score 82 marks or 55% marks.
  • The qualifying marks for SC/ST of other states is 60% marks.

The candidates who qualify the HTET 2020 will get a Teacher Eligibility Certificate. The certificate will be issued by the Board of School Education Haryana. This certificate will be valid for the next 7 years from the date of the result. During this period the candidates can apply for various vacancies to get a teacher job in Haryana State.
