The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-April 2020 from (01-06) September 2020. NTA will conduct JEE (Main)-2020 will be conducted twice before admissions in the next academic session.
Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted from (18-23) July 2020, but then it was postponed due to the outspread of COVID-19 all over the country. The applicants can check the revised dates of the examination available on the official website. They can download the admit card 15 days before the exam date. Candidate can access the JEE Main Result for the same through their Application No, Password & Security Pin.

How to Check JEE Main Result
The applicant should follow the steps given below to check the result:
- Visit the official website given in the article
- Now click on the tab “View JEE Main Result/Score Card 2020 “available at the homepage
- A new login page will be displayed on the screen
- Now enter your Application No, Password, Security Pin, and etc
- Click on “Submit”
- Now you can check and download the result

JEE Main Result: Calculation of Marks
The JEE Main Exam is conducted in two sessions per day on multiple dates and therefore difficulty level of both the slots may be different from each other. In order to ensure fairness and equity in the marking process in both the sessions, the process of Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score is followed to scale the score of each candidate. The Percentile Scores will be the normalized score for the exam and shall be used for preparing the merit list for the candidates. Students are advised to visit the official website for the further information on the process.
JEE Main Result for each session would be prepared in the form of:
- Raw Scores
- Percentiles Scores Separately for each of the three subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and the Total Score
The Four Percentiles for each candidate in the session will be calculated in the following way:
Total Percentile (T1P): 100 X No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than T1 score divided by Total No. of candidates appeared in the session
Mathematics Percentile (M1P):100 X No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than M1 score in Mathematics divided by Total No. of candidates appeared in the session
Physics Percentile (P1P): 100 X No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than P1score in Physics divided by Total No. of candidates appeared in the session
Chemistry Percentile (C1P): 100 X No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than C1score in Chemistry divided by Total No. of candidates appeared in the session.
JEE Main Result: Tie-Break Policy
In case the candidates secured equal Total Percentile Scores, then the tie-break policy will be used in the following order:
- Higher Percentile Score in Mathematics
- Higher Percentile Score in Physics
- Higher Percentile Score in Chemistry
- Candidates older in age
