CAT Application Form

The top Indian Institute of Management will release the Common Admission Test for the students in July 2020 last week. This year the IIM Indore will conduct the CAT exam for the year 2020. The applications for the same will be filled in from 4 August 2020 to 31 August 2020. The written exam for the same will be conducted post the nationwide lockdown on 29 November 2020. A total of 20 IIMs participate in the CAT 2020 examination, apart from them over 120 management Business Schools also participate in the Common Admission Test. The students who will be successful in the written exam and interview will be given the final selection and admission in the top IIMs and B- Schools.

Eligibility Criteria of CAT Application Form

The candidate having the following eligibility can apply for CAT 2020:

  • The candidate must possess a minimum of 50% marks in his graduation to appearing in CAT 2020.
  • A final year student in graduation can also appear in CAT conducted by IIMs but the result of the final year must be released before the GD/PI.
  • There is no age limit to apply and appear in CAT 2020.

How to apply for CAT Application Form?

  3. Click on CAT Application Form 2020 and read it carefully.
  4. After reading CAT notice, click on the proceed button.
  5. Enter your details to complete the registration process.
  6. After that login again using your Registration ID and Password.
  7. Now upload required scanned documents and make a payment of application fees.
  8. The application fee for the general candidate is Rs 2000 while it is Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PWD.

Exam Pattern of CAT

The exam pattern of CAT is based on a written examination and a Personal Interview, the written exam will be a computer-based test. The students will be given 3 marks for each correct answer while 1 marks will be deducted for each wrong objective type questions. There will be no negative marking for Type In The Answer (non-MCQ) type questions. The written examination will have the following pattern:

Selection Process of CAT

The selection process of CAT is based on a computer-based test and the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
