NVS Admission: Eligibility Criteria for Class 6
- The applicant must be a student of Class-V in a Government/Government-Aided/Recognized school/‘B’ Certificate Competency Course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where the JNV is located.
- The applicant age must be between 9 years to 13 years
- The applicants are not eligible to appear in the JNVST for the second time under any situation.

- The applicant must be a student of Class-VIII in a Government/Government-Aided/Recognized school of the same district where the JNV is located.
