The National Testing Agency has announced the JEE Main Exam Date on the official website. The dates are also available on the twitter handle of HRD Ministry. The examination will be conducted now in September the first week, the exam was earlier scheduled in January but could not be conducted citing the COVID pandemic.

The JEE Mains Exam Date has been rescheduled for 2020, the exam which was scheduled for April was rescheduled for July and then again for September 2020. The decision related to the JEE Main is taken by the Union Ministry of HRD. The ministry has assured that the exams will be conducted keeping in mind the safety norms. The students who attend the JEE Mains Exam can take admission in any of the National Institute of Technology. The students who wish to take admission in IITs have to appear for JEE Advanced.

How to check the JEE Main Exam Date?
JEE Main Exam Date has been announced by the HRD minister on his twitter handle. The examination was scheduled for April 2020 but it was delayed due to COVID-19. The JEE Main Exam Date was announced earlier for July 2020 but the exam has to be further postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. As per sources, the exams have been announced for September 2020. The JEE Main Admit Card for the online test will be available on the official website of NTA 15 days before the examination. JEE Main Exam Pattern
The JEE Main Exam Pattern has been declared by the National Testing Agency, the exam is conducted for three courses viz B.Tech, B.Arch and B. Planning. The minutes of the JEE Main Exam Pattern is as follows:
- The exam will be conducted online for the B. Tech while it will be conducted in paper-based form for the B. Arch and B. Planning,
- The language of the examination will be conducted in English, Hindi, and all other official state languages.
- 20 Objective Type – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- 5 Questions with an answer as a numerical value
- +4 marks will be awarded for the correct answer
- -1 marks will be deducted for each incorrect MCQ
- No marks will be deducted for the incorrect answers of the objective answer.

JEE Main Admit Card
The NTA will release the JEE Main Admit Card when the dates for the examination is been finalized by the agency. The HRD ministry has notified that the JEE Main will be conducted in September first week, hence the JEE Main Admit Card will be released on the official website of NTA. The NTA will release the official JEE Main Admit Card as soon as the lockdown eases, the notice was scheduled to be released in July 2020. JEE Mains Hall Ticket will be available for all the candidates who will fill the form of JEE Mains 2020, the hall ticket will be available soon.
