SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern

In SSC CGL Tier-I, the questions will be asked from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and
English Comprehension. There will be four sections in the SSC CGL Tier-I Exam and you can check the number of questions and marks in the below table. Keep in mind that negative marking will also be considered as 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer i.e. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

SSC CGL-Tier-IV Exam Pattern

This stage is also known as Skill Test. In SSC CGL Tier-IV, skill test will be conducted in two formats, DEST Test & CPT Test.

DEST: To check the candidate’s writing skills, Candidates are required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes on a computer in English.

CPT: To check a candidate’s proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Generation of Slides.

Yes. Negative marking will be considered as 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
