HTET Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
The candidates who wish to appear in HTET should have the age of 18 years and upper age limit is 38 years. There is no number limit to attempt the HTET Exam.
Education Qualification:
- For Level I (Teachers of Classes I-V): The applicant should have passed 12th class with 45% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) / four years B.El.Ed or graduation passed or appearing with two years Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Level II (Teachers of Classes VI-VIII): The applicants should have passed graduation with 2 years D.Ed or B.Ed or 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelor in Elementary Education) and both appearing and passed candidates are eligible.
- For Level III (Lecturers of Class XI-XII): The candidates should have passed the Post Graduate (PG) in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
