How to check the GATE Result?
The GATE Result will be released for the students who will appear in the GATE 2021 examination. The GATE exam will be conducted next year in February as per the official schedule released by the panel. The students who will be successful in the written exam will be called in for the counselling process for admission in different colleges.
The GATE Result will be released on the official website soon and the candidates will have to check it once it is released. Once the result and the final cut-off is released by the aforesaid institute the students can appear for the counselling process arranged by it. Details mentioned in GATE Scorecard
The GATE scorecard is a mine of information for the students, the scorecard has to be shown and submitted at the time of the counselling process. It is very important to download and preserve the scorecard as it is very important at the time of admissions to various colleges. The GATE scorecard will contain the following information:
- Name of the candidate
- Date of birth
- Address details of the student
- The Roll number and registration number of GATE
- Date of the GATE test and GATE Result
- The validity period of GATE Result
- Sectional percentage and percentile of each subject
- Total percentage and percentile obtained in the examination by the student
GATE Counselling 2020
- The students will be called for the counselling process based on their ranks. The students will have to be present on the allotted slot and time.
- Post-registration the students will be allowed branches and campus on the basis of availability and ranks.
- Then the aforesaid authority starts the Document Verification the panel checks all the certificates and documents presented bt the candidate.
- After this, the panel will ask the students to upload their photograph, digital signature, fingerprint, and other required documents on the student profile for registration.

There are a lot of opportunities which a student gets after clearing GATE, there are a plethora of opportunities that may be available to him which are as follows:
- The GATE helps the candidates to take admission to courses such as M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D. in top universities across India. The major colleges that select students from the GATE exam are IIT, IIIT, NIT, and a lot of public and private colleges. The students can study for the higher-level courses and then sit for campus selection in various companies.
- There are a lot of Public Sector Undertakings such as GAIL, BHEL, SAIL, etc which recruit candidates who appear for the exam and possess a valid GATE scorecard. The students who qualify GATE with good score can find a good career in different PSUs with a secured future.
- The candidates who have a valid GATE score can get an opportunity to apply for the Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) & Senior Research Fellowship(SRF) in different CSIR Laboratories pan India. The candidates selected in these courses are entitled to a stipend between INR 15,000 to INR 20,000.
- The GATE score also helps students to pursue a Masters’s degree, MHRD. These courses provide financial assistance to deserving and economically weak candidates. Candidates get financial assistance up to INR 11,800 per month in lieu of their qualifications.
