Tier 1 will be a computer-based Objective test, the duration of the test will be 1 hour. The candidate will get 1 marks for each correct answer while ¼ will be deducted for each wrong answer. The test will be conducted for 4 subjects viz Computer Awareness, General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude.

SSC GD Constable Final Selection
The SSC GD Constable Final Selection will be based on the cut-off decided by the commission after the exam. The students have to clear the cut-off at all the stages i.e. the computer-based test and the physical efficiency test. There will be a final merit list that will be drawn for all the students who clears stage 2. The cut-offs will be different for different categories and will decide the fate of the students. The students who will be selected under the SSC GD Constable Final Selection will be called for the document verification and post which they will be allotted the selection as SSC GD Constable.

SSC GD Constable Document Verification
The candidates who will be selected as successful in both the examination will be called in for document verification by the SSC CHSL commission. The candidates have to reach the venue with the necessary certificates as asked by the commission. The candidates should carry the following certificates with them while going for document verification:

- 12th Class Certificate and Marksheet
