Every year Staff Selection Commission conducts a recruitment exam for the post of Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPF. Central Armed Police Forces are ITBP, CRPF, BSF, SSB, CISF. The candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to participate in the SSC CPO Exam. SSC CPO Exam Pattern and Selection Process
SSC CPO exam consists of three stages that candidates have to qualify for the final selection. Let us move ahead to know more about SSC CPO Exam Pattern and Syllabus.
SSC CPO Paper-I Pattern
Paper-I consists of 200 questions of 200 marks and the time duration is 2 hours. It comprises four sections and every section carries 50 marks. Each question scores 1 marks and 1/4th mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

SSC CPO Paper-II Pattern
- Paper-II also consists of 200 questions of 200 marks.
- The time duration is 120 minutes or 2 hours.
- Negative marking is considered as the deduction of 0.25 marks that will be made for each incorrect answer.

Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for all the aspirants after qualifying for the written examination. Let us have a look at the eligibility criteria for PST.

The candidates have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test. This test is conducted to check the endurance or physical fitness of the candidates.
