RBI Assistant Exam

The Reserve Bank of India will release the RBI Assistant Admit Card soon on the official website has announced. The vacancies for the Assistant in different circles of RBI. A lot of students have filled the form for the RBI assistant and have appeared for the prelims exam. The RBI Assistant mains has been deferred citing the pandemic and the new dates will be released soon.

RBI Assistant Admit Card

The preliminary examination of the Reserve Bank of India has been conducted and the result of the same has been released by the Bank. The RBI Mains will be held post-pandemic and the students who have successfully cleared the preliminary exam will be allowed to attend the exam. The RBI Mains will be held for five subjects and will be an objective test. The students will be then called for the language proficiency test and the students will be called for the final DV. The students who will be successful in the LPT test will be given the selection as an Assistant in the authority.

How to Download RBI Assistant Admit Card?

The commission will release the RBI Assistant Admit Card for all the candidates who have applied for the post on the official website. The candidates will have to download the RBI Assistant Admit Card for the from the official website of their applied region. The students should keep a regular tap on the official website regarding more updates of the RBI Assistant Hall Ticket.

The candidates can follow the below steps to download the admit card whenever it is available:

  1. Visit the official website of Reserve Bank of India
  2. after this, the candidate must click on Careers section
  3. Post this, click on download RBI Assistant Admit Card
  4. On the next page click on admit card of RBI
  5. Enter your Registration number and DOB in the given bar
  6. Check the hall ticket and download it for future use

Exam Pattern of RBI Assistant

Phase 1- Preliminary Exam

The preliminary exam will be a 1-hour exam comprising of 3 subjects viz Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. There are prescribed sectional timing for each subject and a total of 100 questions are asked at this level. Negative marking is applicable as 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The RBI Assistant Admit Card will be released for both the phases separately.

Final Selection of the Assistant

The students who clear both the phases by clearing the cut-off will be called in for the language proficiency test by the Bank authorities. The bank will conduct separate language tests for the students. Those students who will be able to clear the language test will be given the selection letter. In the LPT the students will be judged on the local language of the circle they have applied for. They will be judged on three parameters viz Reading, writing and speaking the language of the state. Since the job is clerical based hence it is very important that the students have an idea of the official language of the state.

Syllabus of RBI Assistant

The RBI Assistant is conducted in two-phase viz one is Preliminary exam while second is Mains exam. The syllabus of RBI Assistant is different for preliminary and different for Mains. The question asked in the preliminary exam is low level in difficulty meter while the question asked in Mains is high in difficulty level.
