Past Perfect Continuous Tense क्या है?

Past Perfect Continuous Tense में भूतकाल में शुरू हुए किसी कार्य के एक समय में जारी होने के बारे में पता चलता है। यह हमें बताता है कि वह कार्य पूर्ण हो चुका है। Past Perfect Continuous Tense को पूर्ण निरंतर भूतकाल के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।

Past Perfect continuous की पहचान कैसे करें?

इसको पहचानने का सबसे अच्छा तरीका यह है कि जिन वाक्यों के अंत मे ‘रहा था, रही थी रहे थे’ जैसे शब्द आते हैं, वे सभी Past Perfect Continuous Tense की श्रेणी में आएंगे।

• खुशी 1 बजे से गा रही थी। (Khushi had been dancing since one O’ Clock.)

उपरोक्त वाक्य से हमें पता चलता है कि खुशी द्वारा गाना गाने का कार्य 1:00 बजे भूतकाल में शुरू हुआ था और यह कार्य एक समय तक जारी था। हालांकि इससे यह नहीं पता चला है कि वह कार्य कब तक जारी रहा। इसके साथ ही इन सभी वाक्यों को जब हिंदी में अनुवाद किया जाता है तब हम निश्चित समय को बताने के लिए यह Since और for का इस्तेमाल करते हैं।

Past  Perfect Continuous Tense Rules

Affirmative Sentence (सकारात्मक वाक्य)

Structure:- Subject + Had Been + V1 +ing + Object + other Words + Since/for + Time

Examples:-

• मैं 3 घंटे से दौड़ रहा था। (I have been Running for 3 hours)
• बच्चा 4 घंटे से रो रहा था। (The Child Had been Crying for 4 hours)
• माता 2:00 बजे से मसाले पीस रही थी। (Mother had been grinding Spices since 2 0’ clock)
• वह रविवार से छुट्टी पर थी। (She had been on leave since Sunday)
• वह 6 महीने से बीमार थी। (she had been ill for 6 months)
• वह 1:00 बजे से चिल्ला रहे थे। (He had been Shouting Since 1 O’ clock)
• वह कई महीनों से किताब पढ़ रही थी। (She had been Reading that book for many months)
• टीचर हमें 1 घंटे से पढ़ा रहे थे। (The teacher had been teaching us for one hour)

Negative Sentence (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

Structure:- Subject + Had Not been + verb 1 + ing + object + other Words + Since /for + time

Example:-

• राहुल दो दिनों से खाना नहीं खा रहा था। (Rahul had not been Taking her meals for two Days)
• दादी सुबह से स्वेटर नहीं बुन रही थी। (Grandmother has not been knitting a sweater since morning)
• सुषमा सुबह से शर्ट नहीं सी रही थी। (Sushma had not been sewing Shift Since morning)
• प्रिया बचपन से ही गाना नहीं सीख रही थी। (Priya had not been learning how to sing Since childhood)
• हम 1 घंटे से इस विषय पर वाद-विवाद नहीं कर रहे थे। (We had not been Discussing On this Topic for 1 hour)
• वह 5 साल से वहां नहीं रह रही थी। (She had not been living there for five Years)
• लड़के 1 बजे से गली में नहीं खेल रहे थे। (The Boys had not been playing in the street since 1 O’ Clock)
• शिवम 2:00 बजे से संगीत नहीं सीख रहा था।? (Shivam had not been giving
• हमारा दोस्त हमें बहुत देर से पैसे नहीं दे रहा था? (our brother had not been giving is money struggling hair.)

Interrogative Sentence (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

Structure:- Had + Subject +  Been + v1 + ing + object + other Words + Since/ for + time +?

Examples:-

• क्या वह सुबह से एक पत्र लिख रही थी? (Had she been writing a letter since morning?)
• क्या वह शाम से अपना ऑफिस सजा रही थी? (Had she been decorating her room since morning?)
• क्या उनके आने से पहले हम खेल रहे थे? (Had we been playing before he came here?)

Negative Interrogative Sentence
