The organisation seeks applications from candidates for the post of Engineer and Assistant Chemist. The applications for the same will be filled in from 15 July 2020 to 31 July 2020. The written exam for the same will be conducted post the nationwide lockdown. The students who will be successful in the written exam and interview will be given final selection.

Basic Eligbility
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must fall in the age group of 18-30 years.
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification of all the posts classified in the NTPC Recruitment are different disciplines, which is as follows:

Here we are sharing some guideline that will help you to fill up your application form for NTPC Recruitment 2020 from the official website. Follow simple steps which are given below to submit your NTPC Recruitment Form 2020.
- Go to the official website:
- Click on the “Apply” tab on the home page.
- Click on NTPC Recruitment Notification 2020 and read it carefully.
- After reading NTPC Recruitment, click on the proceed button.
- Enter your details to complete the registration process.
- After that login again using your Registration ID and Password.
- Now upload required scanned documents and make a payment of application fees.
- The application fee for the general candidate is Rs 100 while it is nil for SC/ST/PWD.
- After paying your application fees click on the submit button and take a print out of your application form.
Selection Process of NTPC Recruitment
The selection process of NTPC Engineer and Chemist consists of an online written exam and an interview. The students will have to appear for the written exam. The students who will be successful in the online examination will be called in for the interview.
The exam pattern of Engineer and Chemist recruitment is given below:

The candidate will be successful in the mains examination and clear the cut-off decided by the authority. They will be called in for the Personal Interview as decided by the concerned recruitment. The candidate will have to appear for the Personal Interview and they will have to pass the Interview with the minimum marks decided by the company for each category.
The students who will not be successful in the interview round will be disqualified in that stage. The successful students will be placed in the merit list in the ratio of 85:15. The 85% weightage will be given to the written examination marks while 15% will be considered for the interview.

The pay-scale of an Engineer and an Assistant Chemist according to the NTPC Recruitment are as follows:
