The National Institute of Technology has released the NIMCET Exam Pattern for the 2020 session. This examination is conducted by the National Institute of Technology for the students who wish to study Computer Applications from the institutes. The students who have already completed their Bachelor’s degree with Science as the main subject will be eligible for the examination. The probable course offered by the institute is MCA for the students.
The registration process was opened for the students on 06 March 2021 to 01 June 2020. The examination was initially announced to be held in May 2020 but the examination was deferred citing the COVID pandemic. The application window was further reopened and then it was closed in June 2020. The examination date has been revised to 22 October 2020. The students are awaiting the release the admit card for the NIMCET exams.

NIMCET Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted online and it will be a computer based test for the students. The students will get 4 marks for every correct answer while there will be a deduction of 1 mark for every wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes which is 2 hours. The students who will be successful in the online exam will be called in for the further process.

NIMCET Exam Pattern Syllabus
The NIMCET is conducted in two-phase viz one is Preliminary exam while second is Mains exam. The syllabus of NIMCET is different for preliminary and different for Mains. The question asked in the preliminary exam is low level in difficulty meter while the question asked in Mains is high in difficulty level.
