Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB), Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited applications from Unmarried Male (Indian/Nepalese) applicants for the post of Airmen in Group ‘X’ Trades (except Education instructor trade) and Group ‘Y’ Trades {except automobile technician, Indian air force(police), Indian Air Force (security) and musician trades} on the official website from 02.01.2020. Eligibility of IAF Airmen

IAF Physical Fitness Test
The candidates who will be successful in the written exam will be called in for the physical fitness test, the requirement of physical fitness test are as follows:
- The student will have to have a height of at least 152.5 cm.
- The aspirant will also have a chest expansion of at least 5 cm.
- The candidate must be able to do at least 10 pushups, 10 situps, and 20 squats at a go.
- The candidate must have complete 1.6 Km within 06 minutes 30 seconds.

Indian Air Force Exam Dates: Document Verification
After the declaration of the result of Phase I (Online Examination), the shortlisted candidate will have to report for the next stage that is Phase – II at the designated Airmen Selection Centre along with the following documents
- Colour print-out of Admit Card.
- Colour Print out of duly filled application form.
- Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Exam Passing Certificate and Marks Sheet OR three years Diploma Course Passing Certificate and Marks Sheets of all semesters
- Original and four self-attested photocopies of Matriculation Passing Certificate

IAF Salary and Pay-scale
The students selected for the Airmen Group X and Group Y will be given a stipend of Rs 14,500 during the training period. The students selected in different groups will be given different emolument post-selection:
Airmen Group X- The selected student must be given an emolument of Rs 33,000 per month plus Dearness Allowance as decided by the government.
Airmen Group Y- The selected student must be given an emolument of Rs 26,900 per month plus Dearness Allowance as decided by the government.
Apart from all of this, the aspirant must be given the additional allowance such as Transport Allowance, Composite Personal Maintenance Allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration Allowance (LRA), High Altitude Allowance, Field Area/Modified Field Area Allowance, HRA, Children Education Allowance and Hostel Subsidy.
