IBPS PO 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants can check the eligibility criteria from the table given below:

NationalityYou must be either of the following: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, orA subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 to permanently settle down in India, or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle down in India.
AGE LimitThe age limit of the applicant should be between 20 years to 30 years. There is  relaxation in the upper age limit for different categories
Educational QualificationThe applicants must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification

IBPS PO Selection Process

The selection process for the post will be conducted in three stages that are as follow:

  • Phase-I (Preliminary Examination)
  • Phase II (Mains Examination)
  • Phase III (Interview)

The applicants need to appear and qualify Phase-I that is Preliminary exam to be eligible to appear for the next stage. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the mark secured in prelims exam for the next stage that is Phase II (Mains Examination).
