The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be conducted by IIT Bombay in February 2020. This year the examination cut-off will rise as the candidates are more as compared to the seats in the college. The students should prepare accordingly for the GATE examination. How to Check GATE Cut Off?
The GATE Cut Off and the scores will be released for the written examination within 15 days. The GATE Result will be released on the official website soon and the candidates will have to check it once it is released. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Result is released after fifteen days of the exam on the official website and posts this the students can go for the counselling process. The candidates who wish to check their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering cut off can follow the given steps to check their results from the official website:
- Visit the official website of IIT Bombay,
- Click on the flash link of GATE Cut Off,
- Click on the link.
- Enter your roll number and password on the space,
- Check the monitor for the score obtained by the candidate in the exam,
- The final score obtained in the exam will be released at the official website,
- Click on the score section and enter your roll number and password.
- Download the result or take a print out of the result for the future.
Factors Affecting GATE Cut Off
This year GATE examination will be conducted on multiple days and shifts. Each day will have around 4 shifts, the students often gets confused regarding the marks. The reason for this is that some students will have easy paper while some will have tough [a[er. Hence, to ensure equality in the examination of GATE Cut Off 2020 and providing a fair competition to all the students. Hence, to ensure this fairness, the IIT Bombay has devised a normalization process for the students. This process will help the students in calculating the percentile score of a candidate appearing in the exam:

Guidelines Related to GATE Exam
The candidates who wish to appear for the GATE examination have to abide by certain rules and regulations to appear for the GATE Examination. The Guidelines which a student has to followed are as follows:
- The student must print the GATE Admit card 10 days before the examination.
- The student must reach the examination hall 1 hour before the reporting time to avoid any glitches.
- The candidate should not carry any prohibited items such as a mobile, calculator.
- The candidate must avoid any kind of discrepancies in the GATE exam.
- The students must avoid panic before the exam as it only diverts the brain from concentrations.
- The aspirant should carry their own pen, sanitizer, masks to the exam hall.
