DRDO Exam Pattern
The DRDO has reported 1817 vacancies under the Multi-Tasking Cadre and seeks fresh applicants for these posts. The selection of the students for these posts will be done through two exams i.e. CBT Tier 1 and CBT Tier 2. The students have to qualify for each test separately and clear the cut-off decided by the authority.
CBT Tier 1
The Tier 1 will be a computer-based test based on 3 subjects Reasoning, GA and Quantitative Aptitude. The first tier will be a screening test and will be taken into account for selecting the students for Tier 2. The test will be held for a duration of 90 minutes and will not have any sectional timings. There will be negative marking for the wrong answer marked by the candidate. The authorities will release the DRDO Admit Card for tier 1 once the lock-down eases and the exam dates are announced

CBT Tier 2
The students who will be successful in CBT Tier 1 will be called for the Tier-2 and the scores will be taken in consideration for final selection. The candidates will be given 5 options for per question. The candidates have to mark the correct option against the options available for the questions. The candidate will get 1 mark for each correct answer while ¼ will be deducted for each wrong answer. The questions will be based on 3 subjects viz, General Science, General English and General Maths.
