Table of Contents
Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the exam will conduct the the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in 20 (Twenty) languages in 112 cities for the people who aspire to be a teacher for the level of classes I to V and classes VI to VIII.
The selection process of CTET 2023 will consists of two papers of CTET 2023 such as Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be for the students who want to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper 2 will be for the students who want to be a teacher for VI to VIII. Paper 1 & 2will be for the applicants who want to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII). After a few weeks of the examination, they will release the provisional Answer Key of the candidate.
The applicants can also raise an objection against the released provisional answer Key if they find any error in the answers via paying Rs 1000 per question/answer challenged. After the rectification of the objection raised again the provisional Answer Key, CTET result will be declared on the official website. CTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

AGE Limit

Educational Qualification
The CTET Educational Eligibility Criteria for the primary teachers (Classes I to V) and elementary (Classes VI to VIII) are given below in the points separately:
CTET Primary Stage Teacher (Classes I-V)
The applicants who are willing to be a Primary Stage Teacher must meet any one of the criteria given below: Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary in accordance with the NCTE Rules & Regulations. OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED) OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed /appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
Graduated with at least 50% marks and holds a Bachelor of Education (B.ED) Degree.
Note: To be a Primary teacher in classes I to V, the applicant who possess the Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution need to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within the two years of the appointment.
CTET Elementary Stage Teacher (Classes VI to VIII):
The applicants who are willing to be an Elementary Stage Teacher must meet any one of the criteria given below:
Graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed/ appearing in one year Bachelor in Education (B.ED) Degree. OR
Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and passed/appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.ED), in accordance with the NCTE Rules & Regulations. OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of four years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.ED) OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of four years of B.A/B.SC.ED or B.A.ED/B.SC.ED. OR
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed/ appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will release the CTET Admit Card soon on the official website. The applicants need to download or take a print out of the admit card a few days before the exam date. The admit card will contain details like Roll No, applicant’s name, and other relevant details. No, admit card will be sent via post at any stage of the exam. CTET Result
The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will release the result on the official website. The candidates can view and download the result via entering their correct login credentials such as Roll No and other relevant details. The applicant who scores 60% or more in the CTET will be considered as qualified and will be awarded the CTET Eligibility Certificate.
The validity period of the CTET certificate will be seven years from the date of issue of the result.
